On the 29th March children in Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 got to experience a farm visit here at our school. Throughout the day the children visited the farm in groups, they were allowed to touch and pet the animals. We got to meet Brenda the sheep and her two lambs; Bill and Bob, a calf, Baxter a rare breed of pig, a goat her two kids, ducks, hens, chicks and more. We gained lots of discussion talking about each of the animals. We learnt about their habitats, what they eat and all about their young. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day!
Thank you very much for your kind contributions; without them the the visit would not have gone ahead.
