- 60 second reads - here are a variety of short reading activities which your child can complete.
- SPAG Try these spelling, punctuation and grammar activities. Let your child choose 1, 2 or 3 stars based on their confidence, again, 3 start is the biggest challenge.
- Have a look at this list of common exception words to be able to read and write by the end of year 3 and 4. Don't worry you don't need to look at all of them! Read through them and put a tick in the R column if you can read them. Once you get to 10 that you can't read then stop and practise these. Repeat with writing these words, putting a tick in the W column. You can practise these multiple times throughout the day and week until you are confident. How many can you learn?
