NURSERY PARENTS / CARERS:

Your child is due to start Nursery in September 2022 and we would like to thank you for choosing Highfield Primary School. We look forward to your child starting their school career with us and to getting to know them.

As a school we are committed to smooth and timely transitions that allow every child to settle in, get to know their teachers, their new environment and make new friendships. We believe parents and carers play a key role in this transition and want you to feel reassured that your child is safe and happy at school.

By now you should have received a letter with details of transition arrangements for your child.

New starters: Visits Monday 5th September - a short visit with your child to meet staff and visit the nursery environment.

Parents are able to accompany children for their visit. For visits only - please use Bridgenorth Avenue entrance to school site.

Children returning to Nursery: Start back Tuesday 6th September

Please explore our school website which has a wealth of information to offer about our school as well as the Nursery  prospectus. They provide important information regarding CARE, the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and preparation for starting at Highfield.

At Highfield, we talk about the ‘triangle of success’- the relationship between children, parents/carers and school; each of us with particular roles, all united with one common goal – children’s success.
