Read Write Inc showcase lesson

We strive to support and guide parents/carers in helping their child develop their phonics, reading and writing skills.
This session will provide an opportunity for you to see your child in their classroom environment and observe their learning behaviours. We will explain how we deliver Read Write Inc. (RWI), explore the different texts and stages your child will progress through, and share practical ways you can support their learning at home.
Reading is a vital skill, and it is important that children not only develop their reading abilities but also build a genuine love of reading and enjoy engaging with books along the way. We hope this session will give you a greater understanding of how we teach reading in school and provide you with ideas and strategies to support your child at home.

This ensures that they are pronouncing all sounds correctly.
