Scrap Book Challenge
Over the summer holidays, we ask you to complete a 'summer scrapbook' with your child and return it to school for us to share in September. The scrapbook is a great way for us to get to know your child's interests and also provides a great basis for talk and discussion. You can include anything at all in the scrapbook, from playing with toys, going to the cinema or a walk in the park. The children can draw pictures or stick in photos, tickets or anything else they would like to include. Choose a book of your choice, it maybe a note book from home or simply pictures on a plain piece of paper.
It doesn’t matter if they’re not going on holiday, it can be filled with days out, visits to family and friends, shopping trips, drawings or even any games they play. We will share the scrapbooks with your child and their classmates during the first few weeks in September. We hope the children (and you) will enjoy this summer project. We look forward to reading all about their summer holidays when they are returned in September.
